The Downtown Glenside Foundation will host its 10th annual Arts Festival on Saturday, April 27, from 11:00am to 5:00pm along Easton Road (Waverly to Glenside avenues), and on Wesley Plaza and E. Glenside Ave.

Over 80 artists and crafters will line Easton Road, offering an incredible shopping experience. Beyond that, visit local shops, restaurants, and businesses, and enjoy food trucks, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and much more. Some highlights include…

SHOPPING

Easton Road will boast over 80 artists and crafters selling unique, hand-made items. You’ll find pottery, jewelry, photography, textiles, woodwork, glasswork, mixed media, and much, much more. In addition, the Downtown Glenside shops will be open, and many will feature outdoor displays and sales. It will be a shopper’s paradise with something for everyone.

FOOD & DRINK

When you are ready to take a break from shopping, grab a nosh and something to wash it down. Downtown Glenside’s great restaurants & treat shops will be open for lunch and/or dinner the day of the festival, many with outdoor service and seating. Beyond that, Glenside Ave and Wesley Plaza will feature some extra food & drink options: Humpty’s Dumplings, Deke’s BBQ, Double Trouble Waffles, Tacos El Carbon, Shotz of Love, BB’s Banana Pudding, The Ways Brewery, Bill’s Best Brewery, Bishop Estate Winery, and Mermaid Spirits. Arcadia University will be selling popcorn & lemonade, and the Glenside Fire Company will sell hot dogs, pretzels and bottled water.

ENTERTAINMENT

There will be live entertainment throughout the day on Glenside Ave and Wesley Plaza. Enjoy Glenside favorites as well as some new additions: Kat With An Attitude, The George Sinker Band, Play It Forward, Jet Lag, Koof, 3 for the Road, Doug Wartman, The Cheltenham High School Jazz Ensemble, Cummins School of Irish Dance, Cheltenham High School Vocal Groups, Sky Taekwondo, and the Fencing Academy of Philadelphia. KIDS Trust us, the kids won’t get bored! There will be lots of fun on Glenside Ave: face painting, crafts, activities, sweet treats, games, and inflatables. And for kids of all ages – Come meet The Minis (theminis.org). Lilly & Bella are trained miniature horses who will be happy to get a scritch and take a picture with you. You can find them sharing space at the festival with the team from Sam’s Hope (samshope.org). The Minis and Sam’s Hope will also host a mask-making station. If you love animals, make sure to visit these groups on Glenside Ave. (at New St).
