Read on to find out which #skintok trends we rate, plus the best way to shop them so you too can get the look.

We all know how viral the Rare Beauty liquid blushes went on TikTok a few years ago. So it’s only natural for the brand new powder versions to be just as popular.

Earlier this month, our gal Selena Gomez dropped the Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush, an incredibly smooth and weightless powder blush that provides you with a pinch of colour and a radiant-from-within look.

TikTok creator @glamzilla, as well as so many others on the social media platform, are amazed at just how well they work not just on top of makeup, but also on bare skin.

“I knew it … they are perfect for a no-makeup makeup look“, she said.

Another creator noted they are “absolutely stunning” and the “perfect fusion of the liquid blush and silky touch highlighter”.

Okay hold it, I think I just found my new favourite powder blush.

And while we’re here, I need to admit that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Rare Beauty liquid blushes – they can be too hard to work with.

But this right here, the Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush is the next best thing.

It’s a genius combination of a powder/liquid/cream hybrid – it applies like a powder but leaves you looking so radiant, it’s insane. The colour choices are gorgeous, I love how pretty the compact is and it truly is such a great buy. You need to get your hands on it!

The Banana Bright eye cream has been Ole Henriksen’s top selling product for years now, so it’s a no-brainer they decided to come out with a matching facial moisturiser.

Beauty guru Nikkie Tutorials posted a video showing how she uses the iconic Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Moisturiser and it’s racked up almost a million views.

It’s infused with gold-complexed vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid and light-reflecting banana pigments to brighten the skin.

“I love how smooth it is and how glowy my skin looks”, Nikkie mentioned in the video.

“This instantly lifts my mood from dull to gorgeous”.

As a dedicated Ole Henriksen fan for about six years now, you can imagine my excitement when the news about this Banana Bright face cream dropped. This is everything I could have hoped for and more. Beware it is a thicker consistency – it’s a beautifully nourishing cream, not a gel, so I find you do need to warm it up in your hands a bit before applying. But once it settles, it makes your skin look amazing. It layers great under makeup, really making your skin look and feel super hydrated and smooth. I am planning to repurchase this over and over again – thank you Ole – just look at that glow!

In a video that’s racked up almost half a million views, influencer Bethenny Frankel raves on about her latest Aussie beauty find.

“There’s something about this bronzer … it reminds me of NARS meets Gucci meets Patrick Ta meets Charlotte Tilbury … it’s phenomenal”.

Aussie beauty creators soon followed suit, also reviewing the bronzer and boasting about how great it is.

At just $25, this is a TikTok beauty find we can certainly get behind.

Natio Mineral Pressed Powder Bronzer, $24.95 at Myer

Tried and Tested by Claudia Coy, checkout Social Media Producer

Whether you’re a Real Housewives fan or not, you can’t deny the powerhouse that is Bethenny Frankel. The ‘Bravolebrity’ was recently in Australia when she started a TikTok series reviewing Aussie make-up brands and declared her undying love for Natio’s ‘Sunswept’ bronzer … so of course I had to try it out.

Bethenny set my expectations pretty high when she described the product as a mixture between “Nars meets Gucci meets Patrick Ta meets Charlotte Tilbury” (literally the who’s who of make-up) … and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint.

I’ve been using cream bronzers for a while now as I love the way they blend seamlessly into my foundation but this product may have just converted me back to the powdered bronzer life. It’s the perfect ‘tan’ shade – not too orange, not too cocoa. It’s also the right amount of pigmentation where you can add a subtle sun kissed look or keep layering on for a more contoured bronzed aesthetic (more my vibe).

Remember when mineral makeup was the big thing years ago? Turns out it’s making a comeback, with the Pro Finish Liquid Foundation from Lust Minerals.

It’s appeared on the faces of countless TikTok creators and influencers, with tons of videos racking up tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of views.

It’s loved for it’s glowy, natural appearance, while still offering plenty of coverage – the perfect everyday foundation.

Pro Finish Liquid Foundation, $62 at Lust Minerals

I jumped at the chance to try out this foundation after seeing on socials that STAX. co-founder Matilda Murry was a big fan.

Not only is it a stellar foundation but it also contains SPF20, hyaluronic acid and is packed full of superfoods too so it works to improve the health of your skin throughout the day.

It offers medium coverage but it’s buildable if you want more or less. For the past few years, I’ve been using fairly light coverage skin tints so I was a bit nervous to try something with more coverage as I really didn’t want to look “cakey”.

But I was so happy with how this turned out. It melted into my skin so well and left a beautiful finish. I’ve worn it both to work and out on the weekend and it lasts so well throughout the day. I love the glowy finish the liquid foundation leaves but if you’re after a more matte look or want even more coverage, you can pair it with the Mineral Powder Foundation too.

So you’ve used the iconic La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume as a repairing moisturiser, but did you know you can use it to reduce the appearance of pores, sebaceous filaments and blackheads? As told by TikTok beauty creator @natalie_oneillll, “Cicaplast is the secret to waking up to invisible sebaceous filaments … it’s gold”. She’s shared multiple videos of the hack, with each of them surpassing millions of views.

All you need to do is complete your evening skincare routine and the key is to not go in with the Cicaplast Baume straightaway – let everything soak in, and come back in about 10-15 minutes and apply a very small pea size amount to your problem area.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+, $24.95 at Adore Beauty

Tried and Tested by Marina Tatas, checkout Shopping Writer

I’ve been using this repairing balm for years now. And to be honest, I think I was already doing this hack because I would always use it as a spot treatment on my fiance’s nose to reduce the appearance of blackheads and pores on his nose – and now he’s just as hooked as me.

It’s safe to say this hack truly does work, but just keep in mind it doesn’t make your pores, blackheads and sebaceous filaments disappear and never come back – it reduces their appearance and helps hydrate your skin, in turn making it look smoother and softer.

For some this thick emollient can be quite pore-clogging so the key is to use a very small amount where needed and leave it at that. Voila!

The best part? This award-winning cream is super affordable, ringing it at under $25, but you can also often find it on sale.

If you’ve sworn off ordinary makeup wipes for the fact that they’re a single-use beauty item, but still long for their convenience, enter Conserving Beauty InstaMelt Day Dissolver Wipes.

Reviewed by none other than popular TikTok creator @mikaylanogueira, she was “shocked” at just how well these dissolving makeup wipes worked, and the video in question has now surpassed 3.7 million views.

“Holy crap … this is so cool … this is working so well and it’s even taking off my mascara,” said Mikayla.

And when it comes to the dissolving, she was just as equally impressed.

“That is so crazy, it’s literally gone!”

Tried and Tested by Philippa Tonkin, checkout Shopping Writer

Although I’m generally not a big of makeup wipes and prefer to use a cleansing balm or oil to take my makeup off, these wipes are a far cry from the usual drying wipes you buy from Woolies.

Each wipe actually contains 3ml of the brand’s oil cleanser so it gently melts your makeup off and cleanses your skin at the same time. For me, I use these wipes most often at work when I have something on afterwards and want to redo my makeup but don’t want to bring my whole big bottle of cleanser. I simply pop one in my bag with no hassle at all. Plus, the best part? They completely dissolve.

The extra waste used to be another big reason I stayed away from wipes but that’s no issue with these ones. Simply pop it under water and watch it dissolve. Bonus tip: I usually rub it between my fingers too to help it dissolve faster.

MCoBeauty is no stranger to creating a dupe for your favourite beauty products – and how can we can complain when the prices are so damn affordable? They’ve recently dropped the Super Glow Bronzing Drops, an obvious dupe for the cult (but much more expensive) bronzing drops from Drunk Elephant and it’s getting some serious love over on TikTok.

“That just brought my back to life” said TikTok creator @emileehembrowofficial.

Other TikTok users commented “I’m obsessed” and called it the “best dupe for the Drunk Elephant drops”.

Bronzing drops are a fantastic multi-use product that belongs in your beauty arsenal. You can mix them with your favourite daily moisturiser or sunscreen, use it under your foundation base or wear it alone for a super bronzed and glowy look.

If you’re struggling to fit them in your routine, think of them as a way to match your face to your body (our faces are naturally lighter in colour than the rest of our body, especially if you’re a regular fake tanner).

These ones work so seamlessly and at such an affordable price point, how could you say no?

Whether you’re a setting spray sceptic or a daily user, there’s no denying the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray has gone viral on TikTok, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Countless TikTok videos – with tens of thousands of views – have been made with users calling it the “best setting spray ever”, noting that it “lets their skin breathe” while “locking their makeup down all day long”.

“Magic in a bottle”, said another lover of this setting spray.

I discovered the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray back in lockdown when we were wearing masks, because it was the only product that locked in my makeup under my face mask.

So I can confirm, this is an amazing product that certainly deserves to go viral.

I find it works amazing for oily skin types – keeping everything in place while also feeling super comfortable on your skin. There’s no tight or uncomfortable feeling that I’ve experienced with other setting sprays, and no overwhelming fragrance either. You seriously need this!

The Easy Bake Loose Powders are not a new product for Huda Beauty. In fact, the shades ‘Banana Bread’ and ‘Cherry Blossom Cake’ also went viral in 2023. But this year, it’s all about the shade ‘Peach Pie’ – an ultra brightening shade that’s perfect for those with neutral to yellow undertones in their skin.

Of course these are a baking powder, so the idea is to pack it onto your skin, let it marinate and then gently swipe away the excess. They may not be an everyday powder for the average girl, but they are a baking powder that is sure to make your glam look amazing.

Countless users are trying it on camera and are “gobsmacked” by the results.

“My new everyday baking powder”, said one user, with another noting “it seriously brightens my dark circles”.

While I’m not necessarily baking on an everyday basis, I do love a loose powder like this to set my under eye concealer. And I can confirm that not only is the Huda Beauty formula so incredibly beautiful, but this ‘Peach Pie’ shade is so great too.

The powder is weightless and soft, blending under the eye like a dream. The neutral colour of this powder is kind of like an in-between of ‘Banana Bread’ and ‘Cherry Blossom Cake’ – not too yellow and not too pink. I can see why this is so popular among the beauty community!

Forget TikTok, Tarte’s Shape Tape Contour Concealer has got to be one of the most iconic makeup products of all time. Not only is it the number one concealer in the United States but if you were to look in any makeup artist’s bag, chances are you’d find a tube of Shape Tape in there. The reason it’s so popular? It has incredible staying power with minimal caking as well as offering full coverage.

“This one does not crease … wow I love it. It’s super full coverage, it sets down beautifully and doesn’t feel dry under the eyes,” @misspeytonsmith said in one video.

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer, $51 at Sephora

Tried and Tested by Hannah Paine, checkout Editor

I first used Shape Tape years ago while I was struggling with bad acne and I remember it being a godsend for hiding my stubborn red pimples. This time around I used it for my under eye area, which I often struggle to find a concealer for as it’s very dry. I’ve seen Shape Tape be criticised by some for being too heavy, but the key to preventing it looking too cakey is to use it correctly. You should only apply a small amount and blend it out extensively using your fingers or a sponge. I would suggest dabbing the wand on your fingertip and then applying it that way to ensure you don’t use too much. I found applying it this way gave me great under eye coverage with minimal creasing that lasted a full night out — winning!

This mask has been all over TikTok and for good reason. It uses peptide technology to deeply repair damage hair within minutes, with better results the more consistently you use it. On the platform, you can find countless before and after videos raving about its ability to transform hair.

“All the breakage in my mid-length is magically gone,” user @lexiloolabella shared in a video after using the mask for two months.

“It really saved my hair.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen my hair that shiny,” @molly_vicario said in another video after using the mask once.

K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask, $99 at Adore Beauty

Tried and Tested by Hannah Paine, checkout Editor

I knew I had to try out this hair mask when I saw that Sofia Richie Grainge had signed on as K18’s new ambassador, and boy did this mask not disappoint.

After one use I had the softest, healthiest hair of my life, each of my hair strands felt somehow ‘fuller’ and stronger — it honestly feels like magic. While it’s not a smoothing treatment it’s a great boost if you’ve got damaged or dry hair. I get in-salon hair botox and I would say the K18 mask mimics the effects of that, but it only takes four minutes from the comfort of your home.

To get the most out of the treatment make sure to follow the directions — shampoo your hair as normal but don’t condition. Towel dry your hair and then add at least one pump of the K18 mask to your palms and rub together until it emulsifies (you want it looking like white paint).

Then all you need to do is run it through your hair from root to tip, wait four minutes for it to activate and voila! Heat style your hair as normal for the best hair of your life.

A cult beauty buy for years, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask exploded on the video-sharing app last year when the undisputed queen of TikTok Anna Paul shared how it was the secret to her perfect pout.

Glossy lips have been all the rage of late but many lip glosses can leave your pout feeling dried out or need frequent application to look good.

“I have a lip hack that I’ve been doing every single day. So instead of like a lip gloss I get a lip mask,” said Anna, holding up a tub of the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.

The TikTok star shared how she gets a generous amount and applied by “dabbing it in … all the way to the edges”.

“That’s how you get really shiny lips without it being really weird and sticky,” Anna said.

“Because you know a lot of lipgloss is really sticky and they dry weird whereas this, it doesn’t dry weird at all, your lips just get softer throughout the day because it’s a lip mask.”

Anna’s video has gotten over 10 million views plus countless stitches and comments from TikTok users who say they too have now tried her tip out.

“I use it at night, never had dry lips ever since,” one person revealed, while another said: “Oh my god, I’m so obsessed with this.”

“It’s so much better, I don’t use actual lipgloss anymore,” one TikTok user commented.

While this product is more expensive than your average lip balm or gloss, I can attest to this being worth the price tag. While so many lip products seem to leave my lips feeling dry if I don’t reapply them often, this stuff is like magic for dry lips.

Like Anna suggests it can be used in place of lip gloss but my favourite way to use it is as the name suggests. Apply a generous layer before sleep and wake up with gloriously hydrated lips that are perfectly primed for your favourite lipstick.

With ingredients like antioxidant rich berry complex and vitamin C as well as coconut oil, shea butter and murumuru seed butter, this is one of the best products out there for dry lips.

Nearly everything in Selena Gomez-helmed Rare Beauty has gone viral — like the Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter and the Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer.

But by far the most popular product from the range is the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush — but just make sure you don’t use too much.

The hashtag #rarebeautyblush has hundreds of millions of views, with devotees of the blush raving about how it gives the perfect natural flush.

“When you forget that you only need one dot,” @mandylikes shared in a video of her making the mistake that’s been viewed more than 4.1 million times.

When applied properly TikTok beauty lovers say the blush is “gorgeous” and makes it look like you’re “actually blushing”.

With an average rating of 4.7 stars from over 30,000 Google reviews, this liquid blush definitely lives up the hype.

The key is using very little product — just the tiniest drop on each of the apples of your cheeks will do.

The first time I tried Soft Pinch I was certain I would need to add more product but was amazed when it buffed out with my brush into a love pink finish.

I love how natural and long-lasting this blush is, plus the fact it comes in such a diverse range of shades (although many are sold out).

This is one of those products that seems too good to be true but after seeing countless TikTok videos (and testing it out myself) I can safely say the hype is real.

Loved by celebrities, this went viral on TikTok after top stylist Chris Appleton shared how he used it to create the ultimate frizz-free sleek finish on blow-dried hair.

It works so well you can see it literally repelling water after it’s applied and dries on the hair.

ColorWOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray is an anti-humidity treatment that gives your hair an invisible, lightweight coat to protect against moisture for a shiny finish.

The hashtag #colorwowdreamcoat has tens of millions of views on TikTok, with shoppers saying it is the “best product ever” and works “like magic” to smooth out frizz.

“The before and after is insane, it looks so good,” one commenter wrote.

I was completely blown away by how well this worked on my hair the first time I used it. My hair was left silky and soft, while it kept frizz at bay until my next wash.

The key is to make sure you’re using enough product as well as only using it every fourth wash to prevent build-up. To use, simply towel dry hair and then section for blow-drying. Spray each section of hair with Dream Coat until it’s soaked through (you want your hair dripping wet with product) and then get drying for the best hair of your life.

Who doesn’t want less visible pores and glowy skin? A good exfoliant is key, with Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant not only the brand’s most popular product, but also a bona fide star on TikTok.

The hashtag #bhapaulaschoice has gotten over 3.9 million views, with users raving about its ability to transform skin.

Fans of the product saying it is “a must” and a “holy grail”, especially anyone with oily or breakout prone skin.

This exfoliant is amazing! And seems to work for all skin types,” one TikTok user commented.

“My favourite toner! This product is the only thing that got rid of my small bumps and spots! You will see results OVERNIGHT,” another devotee shared.

However users warn that it is very strong and to introduce it into your routine gradually to avoid irritating skin.

My skin can be sensitive to actives so I wasn’t sure how it would fare using this exfoliant given how strong TikTok users said it was — but I was blown away by the results.

Applying it with a cotton pad after cleansing I was obsessed with the results, it gave me a lovely glow and over time it’s reduced the number of blackheads I get. I use it two to three times a week rather than the recommended twice a day and find it gives me the perfect amount of exfoliation. This is now a staple in my beauty cabinet and something I wish I had when I was struggling with acne in my twenties.

Lip oils have been having a moment for a while on TikTok, so when Rare Beauty released its range of Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oils it was guaranteed to go viral.

And go viral it did — the TikTok hashtag #rarebeautylipoil has hundreds of millions of views since it was released in March 2023.

It’s a hybrid of Rare Beauty’s ultra-popular Soft Pinch Liquid Blush with beautiful long-lasting pigment and all the benefits of a nourishing lip oil.

Those who have already purchased the Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil say the “gorgeous” product is “worth every penny”.

“This lip oil is top tier, it’s actually tinted and long lasting,” one shopper wrote on TikTok.

I absolutely love every single Rare Beauty product I’ve tried so far and the Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil is no exception.

There’s a gorgeous range of colours (my favourite is Hope) and it’s basically a non-sticky lip gloss that fades into a lovely lip stain for hours afterwards.

I loved how natural the shade was and how my lips feel super hydrated, never flakey, even hours after application.

I’m also not the only one — it has an average rating of 4.4 stars on Sephora’s website from just shy of 5500 reviews.

“This formula is amazing and looks good. Very hydrating but not overly tacky on the lips. Matches my brown skin tone very well,” one five star review reads.
