An odd fact is that I was the second-ever customer at the new Los Angeles Apparel in Soho. I ran in to buy these Jelly Flats before a beach trip to Jamaica, and they turned out to be the perfect choice. I even kept wearing them into the fall with tights.

Anyone who knows me knows I don’t wear jeans, but this is the pair that’s going to change that.

For a moment, I was afraid I’d never wear anything but my J.Crew Rollneck again. There was a four-day stretch where I literally couldn’t take it off. I can think of at least four editors who own it too—we were once on a call where three of us showed up wearing the same sweater. And now I just saw it’s available to monogram as well.

Cashmere sweaters help get me through the winters in New York, and I’ve been loving this one Falconeri.

I received this Essential Cashmere Relaxed Boatneck Sweater as a gift, and I love its flattering boatneck silhouette—I’m eyeing it in black, too.

Would you believe I went to two different Erewhons to find this the last time I was in L.A.? My best friend put me on to it, and I was determined to get a bottle for myself—she always grabs a few whenever she’s there for work. I know it sounds ridiculous (the people I was with kept asking, “Why do you want this hand sanitizer so badly?”), but I’m extremely picky about what I put on my hands. I can’t stand anything that feels sticky. I love how it smells, with notes of eucalyptus, clove, and cinnamon.

While I hadn’t owned a true foundation in years—being a devoted skin-tint person—I finally found one I can’t stop wearing: the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration and Longwear. It passes the “I can’t even feel I’m wearing it” test, and it’s noncomedogenic.

I’ve tried many pillows in my life—I’m quite particular about them. A friend of mine shares the same affliction; she even said she wishes she could be matched with her perfect pillow. (I agree.) After plenty of trial and error, my search is over: the Down Pillow from Parachute in the medium density.

I also got this bed cover from Parachute, which adds a nice layer of texture to my bed.

My beloved Sundays Company Movie Night Sofa, which I did a full review on in November.

Another thing I’m finicky about is having a blanket that fully covers me when I’m watching TV on the above couch. I want to feel completely enveloped—I need my feet covered at all times. I’m thrilled to share that I got a twin-size quilt, and it makes the perfect couch throw.
