  • Night owls in Arizona have a few options if they need to grab groceries or stock their shelves while the sun is down.
  • None of the major grocery chains in the Phoenix area, such as Fry’s, Safeway or Walmart are open 24 hours.
  • WinCo Foods, QuikTrip and some pharmacies are a few of the options that are open 24 hours.

Late-night Arizona shoppers have limited options if they want to shop outside of regular business hours.

In March 2020, local grocers like Fry’s, Albertsons, Safeway and Bashas’ changed their hours as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, with most opening later and closing earlier.

Before then, some stores like Walmart were open 24 hours.

But night owls in Arizona still have a few options left if they need to grab groceries or stock their shelves while the sun is down.

Here’s a look at 24 hours stores still left in Arizona.

What stores are still open 24/7 in Arizona?

None of the major grocery chains in the Phoenix area, such as Fry’s, Safeway or Walmart are open 24 hours.

But there is hope for night owls.

WinCo Foods, QuikTrip and some pharmacies are some of the only options that are open 24 hours.

All nine WinCo locations across the Valley are open 24 hours, according to the store’s website. WinCo has locations in Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, San Tan Valley, Glendale, Goodyear and Surprise.

While not a conventional grocery store, the over 100 QuikTrip locations across Arizona offer limited grocery options, like some pantry items, snacks, drinks, and even milk and eggs.

There are over 100 QuikTrip locations across the central and southern Arizona, with 47 in the city of Phoenix alone, according to the convenience store’s website.

Almost every QuikTrip location is open 24 hours, but the kitchen for hot food and ice cream closes at 10 p.m. at most locations, according to the website.

Some Walgreens and CVS locations are also open 24 hours, but hours varied by location.
