Perfect World Tokyo sells the brooches and rosettes on its official website. Buyee has praised the brooches’ “exquisite embroidery, offering a hand-stitched texture and detail that goes beyond the typical printed designs,” and describing each one as a “visual representation of the unique craftsmanship that has captured the hearts of millions of Cardcaptor Sakura fans worldwide.” Meanwhile, the rosettes capture the “whimsical charm of the series,” with both perfect for bags, jackets, and even home accessories.
Cardcaptor Sakura‘s latest merchandise collection follows its 25th-anniversary jewelry collection released internationally last month and MAYLA’s perfume release in December, putting a fun and fragrant twist on Sakura’s numerous costumes. The intricacy of the new brooches also follows the craftsmanship of the Cardcaptor Sakura watches launched last year, inspired by the Mirror and Flower Clow Cards and more.
Crunchyroll streams both the first Cardcaptor Sakura anime and the later reboot, describing the former: “Ten-year-old Sakura lives a pretty normal life with her older brother, Toya, and widowed father, Fujitaka. Or she did, until the day she returned home from school to discover a glowing book in her father’s study. After opening the book and releasing the cards within, Sakura is tasked with collecting each of these magical cards, while trying to live the life of a normal fourth grader. In the monumental task of collecting all the cards, Sakura must rely on her friends and family, and decide what she finds most important in life.” The sequel anime Clear Card debuted in 2018 with a further continuation planned.
