See fashion plates Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway filming ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2.’ Looks for days.

New York City became a high-fashion runway this week as Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs were back in full effect.

New Jersey Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway have been filming “The Devil Wears Prada 2″ in Manhattan.

Their return nearly 20 years after “The Devil Wears Prada” has been a veritable fashion parade.

While Streep (formerly of Basking Ridge and Bernardsville), 76, was seen wearing one very Miranda Priestly look Wednesday while on the set of the sequel, Hathaway (Millburn), 42, has been showing off looks for days as Andy Sachs.

Is that a Runway magazine bag we spy in her hand?

Looks like Sachs, Priestly’s former assistant, has returned to the fold … or has she?

Hathaway’s character was last seen legging it out of her high-pressure job at Priestly’s fashion magazine and back into newspaper journalism.

The second “Devil Wears Prada” movie is, like the first, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, who grew up in Demarest and Montvale. The original film was adapted from the 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger, who worked as an assistant to Anna Wintour at Vogue.

David Frankel, who directed the first movie, is helming the sequel, too.

Emily Blunt, who played Emily Charlton, another of Priestly’s assistants, is also reprising her character in the upcoming movie, due in theaters May 1, 2026.

So is Stanley Tucci, who in the first film played Nigel, a faithful Runway magazine employee who gets the boot. Tucci showed up on set in a snappy suit and tie.

Streep, Hathaway and Brosh McKenna aren’t the only Jersey talents working on the movie.

Helen J. Shen, who made her Broadway debut in “Maybe Happy Ending,” the 2025 Tony winner for best musical, is also in the cast of “The Devil Wears Prada 2.” Like Streep, she hails from Basking Ridge.

Shen, 25, was recently seen on set in New York along with fellow cast members like Pauline Chalamet, Simone Ashley and B.J. Novak (see photos below).
